Hi all,
Some of you guys may have been wondering why airborne combos(skills) are NOT welcomed in Dungeon Party despite being able to deal high damage:
Here are the reasons:
Air combo will cause party member skill rotation to break, the consequences are:
- Skill Reset (E.g lighting draw type skill disappear)
- Skill Cool Down unable to reset (E.g unable to cast another wave of high damage skill)
- Skills unable to deal damage for those who have (Ground damage only skills)
- Triggering unwanted Boss mechanics (E.g delays or instantly activates boss "1-Hit KO" skill causing members to be unable to iframe correctly leading to loss of 1 dragon blood/death)
Hope the above information provides a helpful insight to why air-combo doesn't help the party in dungeon runs.
Even though an air combo may increase one's damage for a few seconds, the consequence of it is that it will cause the other 5 members to be unable to deal proper damage not just within that few seconds, but for a longer period due to interruptions of skill resets and cool down.
So yups, in a team dungeon party, air combo users will need to understand that its more important to maintain damage as a group of 6 together constantly.
This is also one reason why I spec non-air combo skills when i go dungeons and focus my points on skills that deals more ground damage on ground.
That's all the info for those who are curious
Also quoting myself below in one of my response to our members after understanding their frustration:
However, i know not everyone will be able to come across this thread and read the details, so you guys in game will have to forward them over here to read it. I will sticky the thread so it stays on top.
in the mean time, to avoid confusion, miscommunication and unnecessary frustration, I suggest you all form party with the following intention stated before hand:
when forming party, give clear requirements such as :
Example:
Hi all, forming Yeti party. We need members to play their role respectively to ensure victory in terms of countering mechanics.
If you are unsure, we don't mind guiding you and teaching you so you can learn with us through the run.
But if you are not intending to cooperate with the mechanics, sorry we will not be able to bring you as we prioritize all members together as a TEAM rather than 1 high dps member.
So yups, interested, please pm me.
(As the clan leader, i am officially allowing such notices to be made known before hand for all high level mechanics involved dungeons)
I want everyone to have a chance to learn as long as they are willing to try and learn and grow together, this is what a clan is and how we form a party to play as a team, as a family.
Any individuals that tries to do it their way should re-think as this is not what our clan is for ya
So yups, hope my intention is clear for all veterans to guide and teach, and for all high levels to know that you need to work as a team.
Thanks

Ya, i know how you guys feel. generally, not every player will understand what they do can badly affect others and the party success rate as a whole. So i decided to post this thread to help others understand.
